The museum will contain 10 galleries for individuals to explore. Each gallery contains rare and dynamic original collectibles, Black Americana and artifacts that date back to the late 1800's. There are over 700 items in the collection to view. Historical and educational information is presented throughout each exhibit in the galleries.
The African American Photography Collection
This exhibit will explore African Americans from Virginia who made local and national history.

This exhibit reveals different ads that advertised African American toys.

This exhibit explores postcards that contain photographs of African Americans.
This exhibit explores the images of African Americans in Periodical.
